Griffin launches WoodTones earbuds

MakeMusic has launched a free new music app that allows iPad users to view, play, and print electronic sheet music. In addition to viewing PDF music files, Finale Songbook also supports files created with the Finale family of notation software. When viewing Finale MUS files users also gain the ability to hear the music played back with options for controlling tempo. Other features includes set lists, gesture controls, and support for AirTurn page turners.

New Griffin earbuds made from leftover pieces of wood

WoodTones, a new line of earbuds made with bits of wood left over from other manufacturing processes, have been launched by Griffin Technology. The earbuds feature 8mm neodymium drivers, a 4 foot cable, and three different silicone ear cushions to ensure a good fit for all ear sizes. WoodTones are being sold online for $30, which includes a free drawstring carrying pouch made from a natural hemp fiber.
