iTunes, App Store, iBook Store getting iOS 6 redesigns
Apple's iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore are in for a makeover, unconfirmed reports suggest. With the rollout of iOS 6, Apple's three digital storefronts will reportedly receive an overhaul aimed at improving interactivity when customers make purchases. While all three have received minor usability tweaks in the past, the new overhaul is said to be more extensive, and have a considerable focus on social sharing.
Details on the makeover are scarce, but it is believed that Apple's reported closer ties with Facebook will likely play a big role. Facebook integration is said to be in testing for the iTunes Store, and similar features may appear in Apple's other digital storefronts, 9to5Mac is reporting.
Despite Apple's acquisition of app-discovery service Chomp earlier this year, the storefront renovation is not expected to do much in the way of improving app accessibility or discovery. Apple may make improvements to app discovery in the coming months, but the integration of Chomp's technology isn't expected to be ready by the time iOS 6 launches. [via 9to5Mac]

Good, But
OK I like any improvements to the storefronts that might "improve interactivity when customers make purchases."
However if it is to add "a considerable focus on social sharing" then my response is a resounding Meh. Didn't they try this with Ping?
