Spain site of rapid Apple expansion
Apple is opening a seventh store in Spain this Saturday at 10AM, the company has announced. The shop will be located in the Nuva Condomina mall, in the southern city of Murcia near Cartagena and the Mediterranean coastline. Although it's scheduled to be closed on Sundays, the outlet will otherwise be open from 10AM to 10PM every day.
The expansion of Apple Stores in Spain has been unusually rapid for a region outside. Insider sources for ifoAppleStore moreover claim that another four shops will be open within the next year, including street-level locations in Madrid and Barcelona. Such growth could theoretically put Spain ahead of other continental countries like France or Germany, although those places are also expected to see expansion.
