Marshall unleashes Major Pitch Black headphones

Marshall adds new all-black Major headphones


Marshall amplification has introduced a new version of its Major-series of headphones with an all-black model it calls the Major Pitch Black. In addition to a namesake all-black color scheme, the new headset picks up a denim headband designed to appeal to the muso crowd. To celebrate the launch, the company is also giving users who post a picture or video of themselves in corpse paint on their Facebook page the oppounity to win a custom-built Pitch Black Marshall amp.

The Major Pitch Black is a fully-collapsible design allowing it to be stowed easily when on the go, while its extra soft ear cushions offer better comfort for extended listening sessions. It includes a line mic and remote that will work with iPhones and will work with both 3.5mm jacks, while an adapted for 6.3mm stereo connections is also included.

The speakers incorporate a 40mm dynamic moving coil with a sensitivity of 121dB at 1kHz. Impedance is rated at 32ohms at 1kHz, frequency range is 20-20kHz, while maximum input is 20mW.

The Marshall Pitch Black is available from the Marshall online store for $135.
