Sony A37 and NEX-F3 explored in more detail
An earlier NEX-F3 leak was joined later on Saturday by two more giving large clues as to imminent plans. Yang Canggih has leaked the previously unseen Alpha A37, an entry counterpart to the A57. It now has a tilting screen like the NEX series, and has a more ergonomic grip than the A35.
Full hardware changes weren't mentioned, but the camera should grow to 15 picture effects and bring in Auto Portrait Framing to auto-crop human subjects.
The NEX-F3 leak (since pulled) has provided a much wider look at the camera. It helps confirm the 180-degree tilting LCD and the placement of a first-for-NEX pop-up flash just to the right of the lens mount. Multiple colors will be a specialty, with the earlier white being joined by black and pink.
Both cameras were purportedly shown at a private event not meant for public consumption. The timing suggests both could be made public in a matter of days. [via Sony Alpha Rumors one, two]
