iPad Document Hub announced
Pre-orders for a limited edition ceramic white LIL KIKR+ are now being accepted through Kickstarter. The LIL KIKR+, which is expected to begin shipping in June, is a portable dock for the iPhone and iPod touch that naturally amplifies the devices built-in speaker. A $60 pledge entitles donors to the limited edition LIL KIKR+, as well as free shipping within the US. International orders are also being taken, but require an additional $15 for shipping.
HELIOS debuts new iPad app
HELIOS has announced a new file transfer app for the iPad that acts as a client for its webshare platform. The Document Hub app allows companies to let remote users access, use, and present or share documents from intranet servers. Support is included for most major documents file formats, as well as for sending files to other apps such as Numbers, Keynote, Acrobat, and iBooks. Additionally, a customizable APU that allows customers to brand their own intranet service for employees, customers, vendors, users, and groups has been made available.
