Smaato outs updated SDK


Griffin Technology has teamed up with Crayola to launch a line of kid-friendly headphones and cases for the iPod touch. The Crayola MyPhones are fully adjustable, volume-limiting earbuds and headphones that have been designed to comfortably fit children. The earbuds are offered in four colors, purple pizzazz, cotton candy, caribbean green, and blue berry at a cost of $15 each, while the headphones are sold in two color combinations for $25. Meanwhile, two case designs, Color Clickers and Crayon Classics, are being offered online for $25 each.

Smaato's updated SDK complies with Apples UDID policy

Smaato has released an updated version of its ?iOS SDK that complies with the latest UDID privacy policy from Apple. Following some privacy concerns, Apple recently began rejecting apps that attempted to access a device's UDID. The updated Smaato iOS SDK adheres to these newly enforced guidelines and does not allow developers to access or transmit UDIDs. In addition, the updated SDK provides access to more than 80 ad networks worldwide for adding rich media, display, and text ads to apps and mobile websites on iOS devices.
