White Lumia 900 shows up early in AT&T stores

New phone color arrives early

White models of the Nokia Lumia 900 are now available in AT&T stores, according to photos posted by Mobility Digest . The white version of Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 7 smartphone, previously revealed in an accidental post on the company's Facebook page, arrives two days prior to that model's intended April 22 release.

Electronista went hands-on with both the regular and white Lumia 900 earlier this year. The white models differ from the black and cyan Lumia 900s in that they have a glossy finish instead of matte, which Nokia says was too difficult to achieve on a white model. As with the black and cyan versions, the white Lumia 900 comes with a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED screen, a front-facing f2.4 camera, and an eight-megapixel f2.2 camera on the back.

The Windows Phone has been an AT&T exclusive since its launch in March, though it may appear on other American carriers after a short exclusivity period when it launches internationally in June. It's also rumored that the phone's camera may see an upgrade to a 12-megapixel unit in the near future, though Nokia has neither confirmed nor denied the rumor. The Lumia 900 will likely be the last Nokia Windows Phone 7.5 offering, as future models like the Lumia 610 will be running Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh.
