Scratch and Scratch Lab assist workflow
Pro video software company Assimilate has announced that it is now supporting the AMD Radeon HD 5770 and 5780 graphics cards found in some Mac systems, adding to its existing support NVidia and AJA cards. The company's products, Scratch and Scratch Lab, are designed for professional video and filmmakers who need to manage workflows for film and TV editing projects. The software is particularly useful for production dailies, conform and color-grading work.
The AMD support expands the range of hardware the two software products can work with, which includes AJA SDI, NVidia's Quadro line, OpenCL and FirePro. Both products support formats such as ARRI RAW, Sony F65, Phantom, Canon 5D, Red's R3D and others. The current version of both Scratch and Scratch Lab is v6.1.
