Upcoming Lenovo notebooks leaked in partner doc

A newly spotted partner listing (PDF) from Lenovo has shown off some upcoming models from the computer-maker. It includes new ThinkPad and IdeaPad models that weren't leaked earlier, including the ThinkPad T430s. This should be a replacement for the T420s and be a thin and light 14-inch notebook that doesn't quite meet the ultrabook criteria, unlike the T430u.

Likewise, the T530 may replace the current, 15.6-inch T520 business notebook. It's expected to offer higher performance in a larger package. The ThinkPad W530 will be a next-generation mobile workstation, also sized at 15.6 inches. It appears that a 17-inch variant has at least temporarily been axed from the lineup.

The ThinkPad X230t will get a touchscreen and the ability to convert into a tablet. The ultraportable may get a screen size of around 12 inches, but little else is public.

A student-oriented ThinkPad X131e notebook would be ruggedized and get an 11.6-inch display. Processing power options will include AMD Fusion chips as well as Intel's Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 chips.

A number of 14-inch IdeaPad V480 consumer and small business notebooks will be launched this year as well according to the document, carrying c, s, and u suffixes, as well as a fourth model without one. The s is expected to be a thin and light version, while the u may be an ultrabook. What the c may indicate is anyone's guess. A larger, 15.6-inch model, the IdeaPad V580, is also expected.

All of the above will carry the Lenovo Enhanced Experience 3 (EE3) for Windows 7 tweaks meant to speed up system responsiveness. Compared to EE2, average boot times should shrink by five seconds, down to 24. [via Laptoping]
