Cards 1.1 gets new card designs, better ordering process

updated 02:45 pm EDT, Mon April 16, 2012

Title still iPhone-only

Apple has posted a minor update of Cards, its greeting card and postcard creation app. The v1.1 update mainly introduces new card designs, such as letterpress Mother's Day cards, and some new "Get Well" options. Other additions have been made to categories like Birthdays and Thank Yous.

More minor changes include more accurate envelope address verification, and a simplified, upgraded checkout process. The app is a free download for any device using iOS 5 or later, but still lacks a native iPad interface.

    Why no iPad?

Seems strange that they don't offer an iPad version. Can't think of a reason why they wouldn't.
