Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note first on list
Canadian wireless carrier Bell appears to have established an Android 4.0 update timetable for several of its handsets. A alleged internal memo posted by Mobilesyrup suggests the carrier has set June as a target for Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.9 and HTC's Sensation and Raider smartphones.
The document points to April as the update window for Samsung's Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note, while the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has an estimated release of May. LG's Optimus LTE is the last item on the lineup, with an update waiting until July.
HTC has already begun distributing Android 4.0 updates for its Sensation and Sensation XE handsets, though the first rollout was limited to unlocked devices distributed in Europe. The Bell leak may hint at potential timeframes for Android 4.0 updates in the US, however most individual carriers have yet to commit to specific release dates.
