Box OneCloud lets users save files into the cloud

Cloud document storage company Box will soon streamline the way iOS users can edit documents through existing apps such as QuickOffice. Users can now perform quick edits by hitting the Save back to Box button that will overwrite the file on the cloud server. Earlier, users had to re-import the new file and save it as a separate file on the cloud server.

The app contains links to all 33 compatible apps so users can quickly and easily download them. Each app has an icons that list the file formats it can edit. Box partnered with Quickoffice, Adobe EchoSign, Nuance PaperPort Notes, and PDF Expert to ensure a deep level of integration and what it calls a round-trip workflow for instant storage of edited documents. While OneCloud isn't as integrated as Apple's own iCloud, it's much more functional.

The OneCloud app is out now and promises a similar app is coming to Android. [via The Verge]
