Also brings support for Sparrow e-mail

Oranged Software's Studiometry, a business solution for client- and project-based small businesses, has been updated to version 9.1, a free upgrade for all 9.x users. The new version offers an all-new summary report called Assigned Projects, adds the ability to import entire iCal calendars directly into the program (including events and to-dos) and now supports Sparrow as a default e-mail client along with many other minor upgrades.

In addition the program now features the ability to include to-dos when adding Gantt chart delays, and adds a New Log button in the project list. A few bugs were corrected as well, such as selecting multiple logs and clicking the minus button now correctly deletes all the selected logs. Also fixed was a syncing issue with the Lion version of iCal, and improved the display of long line items in an invoice rather than the possibility that they would not appear, among others.

The Assigned Projects report visualizes which projects each employee is working on, with room for additional information about each project. The new iCal import feature is separate from the program's ability to sync with iCal, letting the user do a one-time import of a specific calendar from iCal, meaning users don't have to add work projects to iCal anymore if they would prefer to stay inside Studiometry.

The program is available for both Mac and Windows and has companion iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch apps available. New licenses start at $200, and free trial is available.
