HTC One V given rare live hands-on

HTC One V seen working quickly

The HTC One V had one of its first hands-on tests as a working device on Thursday. Testing the upcoming Telus version, MobileSyrup saw it running much of Android 4.0 and the matching Sense 4.0 quickly despite the single-core, 1GHz Snapdragon. The only change in this early version is the use of Android's stock if improved task switcher and not the 3D one HTC uses on the One S and One X.

Apart from being capped at 720p video and a five-megapixel rear camera, the One V still has the fully upgraded ImageSense camera experience. HTC's 2012 entry phone is relatively advanced and packs a 3.7-inch screen as well as 4GB of internal storage.

Telus hasn't given a release date, although a Virgin Mobile model is rumored to be coming soon and could cost under $200 on contract.
