Latter can now delete photos from Photo Stream
Late today Apple has updated almost all Epson printer drivers with built-in support for Snow Leopard and Lion, and has posted a minor update to its pro-photography tool Aperture to grant it the ability to delete photos from Photo Stream, an iCloud feature that can be set to wirelessly copy photos from mobile devices to desktop and notebooks and vice versa. The Epson update is number v2.9, while Aperture is now v3.2.3.
Apple's own list of supported Epson printers shows that nearly every driver (apart from drivers for the Epson ES, Expression, F, GT, and Perfection series) updated, though specific changes were not detailed. The Aperture update, in addition to the Photo Stream deletion ability, "addresses minor issues related to performance and stability" according to Apple. The Aperture update is only available via the Mac App Store at present, so users who bought Aperture before the changeover to the MAS should wait for an update for their version.
The Epson driver update varies in size through Software Update, as it only updates the drivers for printers actually connected to the users' computer. The combo update available from Apple's support page weighs in at nearly 1GB. Users checking through Software Update may also see yesterday's upgrade of Safari to version 5.1.4, which dramatically improves JavaScript speed along with other fixes.

Did they test Aperture
before releasing? All my deleted photos from Photostream promptly download again as soon as I quit and reopen Aperture...
