iStopMotion update launched

This past weekend, At Bat 12 set two new launch records by drawing 2.9 million accesses and delivering 450,000 live audio and video streams. The mobile app, which allows users to follow every MLB baseball game, is currently focused on spring training but will be updated with new information prior to opening day. As previously announced, At Bat 12 also introduces new subscription planes. Fans can subscribe to an entire season of audio streams for $15, or choose to pay a monthly fee of $3. Meanwhile, video subscriptions are set at $120 for a year, or $25 a month.

iStopMotion update offers improved performance

Bonix Software has announced the release of an update for iStopMotion, its stop motion animation creation tool for the iPad. By using optimized GPU algorithms, the image capturing speed has been significantly increased in v1.1. The minimum time lapse interval has been reduced from three seconds to one on the iPad 2, and from five to two seconds when using the companion app, iStopMotion Remote Camera, on an iPhone 4/4s or iPod touch 4th gen. Users can alas now upload finished movies directly to Dropbox, as well as duplicate a frame in order to slow down the animation without the need to set the same scene twice. iStopMotion is currently being sold at the discounted price of $5, but will return to its regular price of $10 on March 18.
