Leak claims 'high-end' Nokia phone at MWC, likely Lumia 900

updated 04:20 pm EST, Tue February 7, 2012

Lumia 900 likely to be Nokia's big reveal at MWC

Nokia will bring out at least one new flagship smartphone at the MWC show at the end of this month, Forbes reported. Currently, the device is likely an international version of the Lumia 900, which was accidentally revealed by the Finnish phonemaker this morning. A US version is expected to arrive at AT&T sometime in March.

Forbes learned of the 900's reveal through another gaffe, though this one was a partner for Nokia, whose name isn't being revealed, while promoting its own product. Whether the phone will use Windows Phone wasn't revealed, but did slip that a phone with an unusual software feature for flagship devices is due.

Rumors have had the world version of the 900 carrying a maximum of HSPA+ 3G and a 12-megapixel camera. The company has already denied the camera rumor, however.

The company has a press conference scheduled for the opening day of the conference on February 27, suggesting it will debut the new product then.
