Google Voice gets Android 4.0 makeover, tablet click-to-call

updated 03:00 pm EST, Tue February 7, 2012

Google Voice gets quiet but major update

Quickly following on the heels of Chrome for Android, Google has also posted an update of Google Voice (Android Market). The new version now has an interface in line with Android 4.0. Tablet owners also now have a click-to-call feature to hand over calls: the option passes a phone number off to a phone associated with Google Voice to start the conversation on a more natural device.

Full details aren't yet available for the update, which still shows on the web and Market as the old November version.

Using the new call unification app still works on platforms as old as Android 1.6, although later versions get more feature and interface integration. [via Droid-Life]
