Parallels new Final Cut Pro upgrade

Complementing the release of Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3, Apple has also released Motion 5.0.2. Motion is used to produce titles, transitions, animations, and other effects for Final Cut. The v5.0.2 update is said to improve "overall stability and performance," including the speed of text editing.

Apple has also made some small feature upgrades. Animation keyframes can now be added automatically when recording is disabled, and a keyboard shortcut has been added for repositioning animation curves and paths. Pan and scale can be tweaked for images in a drop zone; finally, the Keyframe editor has been given a new look meant to ease both viewing and editing.

Motion is a $50 download. Users must be running OS X 10.6.8 or later.
