SixtyFour helps manage system memory

Epson has launched a free new iOS app that allows users to wireless display files on networked projectors, while 1951fdg has launch SixtyFour, a tool for managing 64-bit apps

Epson has launched a new iOS app that allows users to wirelessly display documents and photos on networked Epson projectors. iProjection is a free tool that works with most iOS devices running iOS 4.2 or later, including the iPad 2, iPhone 4S, and iPod touch. In addition, the app also features cloud integration, allowing users to access files from several cloud services such as Dropbox. Full support is offered for Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote, and PDF documents, as well as JPG, TIFF, and PNG images.

A new memory optimization tool that allows users to force 64-bit apps to open in a 32-bit mode has been released. SixtyFour lists all apps that will open in a 64-bit mode by default and displays the startup status of each with a checkbox. A selected check box indicates that the app will open in a 32-bit mode, a non-selected check box indicates that the app will open in a 64-bit mode, and a disabled check box means the app will only open in a 64-bit mode. The software is compatible with any 64-bit compatible PPC or Intel based Mac running OS X Leopard or higher and for a limited time the SixtyFour is being sold on a pay what you want basis.
