Sprint confirms its Galaxy Nexus to carry 32GB

updated 12:55 pm EST, Thu January 12, 2012

Still hasn't revealed when it will be available

When Sprint acknowleged on Monday via its website that it would be carrying the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it indicated that it would be sporting 16GB of internal memory. The company has now revised that specification upwards. The phone will actually come with 32GB of storage.

The Galaxy Nexus revolves around its 4.65-inch, 720p (720x1280) Super AMOLED HD screen and is the first to run Android 4.0. The camera shoots five-megapixel photos with extremely fast responsiveness and can shoot video at 1080p. Sprint's version will be the first to support NFC and Google Wallet.

Sprint has not yet announced when the Galaxy Nexus will be available. It plans to start deploying its 4G LTE service, which the smartphone will support, in Atlanta, Dallas, and San Antonio some time during the first half of this year.
