Apple to reveal Q1 2012 results on January 24th

First quarter with iPhone 4S, iCloud


Apple will publish its fiscal Q1 2012 results on January 24th, the company has announced. A conference call and webcast are scheduled for 2PM Pacific time that day, or 5PM Eastern. Apple executives should be on hand to discuss results with participating analysts.

The quarter was Apple's first to include sales of the iPhone 4S, since the device only went on sale in mid-October. It also marked the official debut of iCloud, as well as iOS 5, and modest iPod updates. More importantly the quarter represented the holiday shopping season, traditionally Apple's best sales period.
