MAGFest auction for Child's Play

UPS has updated its iOS app with new tracking features, while MAGFest organizers have announced that the second annual Child's Play charity auction will take place this Sunday

UPS has launched an updated version of its free mobile shipment utility for iOS devices. UPS Mobile includes a number of features for tracking shipments, creating labels, finding UPS locations, and more. With the latest release, a new "Scan to Track" feature has been added, allowing users to scan package tracing numbers with a phone's camera to obtain updated information. In addition, the software will also search for any tracking numbers stored on the device and automatically add them into the UPS app for tracking.

MAGFest to run second annual Child's Play charity auction

For the second year in a row, MAGFest will be running a charity auction that benefits Child's Play. The auction will will include thousands of dollars worth of merchandise that has been donated from MAGFest bands, video game developers, electronics manufacturers, Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu, and more. MAGFest is scheduled to take place from January 5th until the 8th in National Harbor, MD, with the auction set for the afternoon of the final day.
