Nokia's WP7 flagship gets FCC teardown

The Nokia Lumia 800 has reached the FCC for wireless certification. Notably, the testing highlights that its 3G radio does not support the 1700MHz band meaning that this version won't end up alongside the Lumia 710 at T-Mobile. Beyond that, the FCC has conducted its customary teardown revealing device's key wireless components.

The device is currently Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 7 mobile device and has received a generally positive reception on its launch in Europe. The handset is expected to become the middle-range device in Nokia's WP7 line-up when the rumored Nokia Lumia 900 is released with is said to be sporting a larger 4.3-inch AMOLED display.

The Lumia 800 centers on a 3.7-inch AMOLED display and runs the Mango OS. The device is loaded with a maximum of 16GB for storage and is powered by a speedy 1.4GHz single-core processor. [via Engadget]
