Apple issues fourth 10.7.3 version to developers

updated 10:15 pm EST, Tue December 20, 2011

Less than a week after the last one

Testing continues on the next minor update to Mac OS X, with a new version of 10.7.3, this time with a build number of 11D36, being released to developers. The new build comes five days after the previous version, which had a build number of 11D33. As before, no known issues are listed with the update. The small increment between versions may indicate that a public release will come soon.

Developers are asked to focus on areas such as Address Book, iCal, iCloud document storage, Mail, Safari and Spotlight. Apple began testing the 10.7.3 update in mid-November.

Earlier this month, code found inside the first build of 10.7.3 hinted that Apple was planning to add support for a high-end AMD Radeon 7000 card, suggesting a new workstation-class model such as a revamped Mac Pro. [via AppleInsider]
