Archos to bring first Android 3.2 tablet to CES

Archos has just unveiled its lowest-cost Android 3.2 tablet, the 70b. It gets a seven-inch, 1024x600 capacitive touchscreen and mostly keeps the cost down through a 1.2GHz, single-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. An HDMI output and SD memory card input together supplement the 8GB of built-in memory.

Like newer-generation Archos tablets, it gets access to the Android Market and the much larger 250,000 apps instead of AndroLib.

The tablet arrives in January for $199. The release also suggests there will be higher-priced, higher-capacity models as well, although these weren't detailed along with the launch.
