Promo shots of Lumia 710, LG Spectrum leak
Promo shots for the Nokia Lumia 710 for T-Mobile and the LG Spectrum for Verizon have surfaced on the Net. The Lumia 710 is the first of Nokia's Windows 7 phones to officially hit the US market and is expected to be formally unveiled this Wednesday. The rumored LG Revolution 2 will arrive on the Verizon network as the LG Spectrum.
Although the Lumia 710 is the lower end of the two Nokia Windows Phone 7 devices revealed to date, it still offers mid-range users plenty of appeal. It will be available in both black and white, while both will be able to take advantage of interchangeable back covers. It centers on a 3.7-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor paired with 512MB of RAM.
The LG Spectrum will pack a 1.5GHZ dual-core processor, a 720p-capable display and a 1080p 8-megapixel rear camera. Although Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has now been made available to vendors, LG has not had enough time to test it on its latest handset, so the Spectrum will ship with the now outdated Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. It will, however, make up for the lack of the latest software to some extent with its inclusion of an LTE radio. [via Pocketnow]
