We review the Galaxy Nexus and Android 4

The Galaxy Nexus is arguably the first official Google phone whose appeal isn't just confined to hardcore Android fans: even those who only know the iPhone by name are taking notice. With a massive 4.65-inch, 720p display, a near-instant camera, and most importantly Android 4.0, it promises not just to be a powerful phone but the most cohesive expression of what Android can be. But can it cross over into the mainstream in a way that previously only Apple could? Our Samsung Galaxy Nexus review settles that question.

    Always astounded

At the level of detail in your reviews. It is mind-numbing.

While it is not a phone for me, it sure looks like it will have stepped up the game quite a bit for the rest of the Android manufacturers. Good for them.

    verizon model has 32 GB

Overall a nice review (much better than the sneak-peak a few weeks ago). One minor note: The Verizon model has 32 GB of storage (the review claims it has 16).

    Camera blows...

Played with one last night for a few hours, the camera is absolutely terrible, in low light it's comparable to my daughter's Vtech KiddieZoom camera...and I'm not kidding. Other than that, very quick, the screen is gorgeous, the build quality is pretty good but it is plastic and can never come close to the build quality of the iPhone 4 series. ICS is a major step forward and there are some great features that Apple could learn from. One thing that isn't so intuitive (and this may be limited to the theme that was loaded on it, it wasn't my phone) is the little indicator to let you know how many app/widget pages there are and which page you're on, not a deal breaker but just leaves you hanging. Other than that, great phone but I'd never buy one (especially at $300) with such a s*** camera. Oh, battery use is CRAZY with 4G enabled, it was down almost 20% in 10-15 minutes of web use. Oh, did I mention it's blazing fast!
