coconutBattery update adds export option

miCoach Soccer is a new iOS application that syncs with adidas' SPEED_CELL sensor, while coconutBattery 2.7.2 is the latest version of the laptop battery monitoring utility

Alongside the release of the miCoach SPEED_CELL and adizero F50 soccer cleats, adidias has launched miCoach Soccer in the App Store. The free app syncs with the SPEED_CELL, a fitness sensor that tracks performance metrics such as average speed and total distance, and visualizes the data. miCoach Soccer also allows athletes to use the data to create a virtual avatar and share stats via MiCoach.com or various other social media sites.

coconutBattery 2.7.2 released

An updated version of coconutBattery, a tool that displays live information about a computers battery, has been released. The software provides feedback on the current and maximum battery charge, as well as the current and design capacities. Other details include the computers age, battery load cycles, temperature and power usage. The v2.7.2 update adds an option to export saved battery data as a CSV file, and fixes a problem that prevented the software from working on some MacBook Pro models. In addition, a number of minor bugs have also been resolved.
