Verzo Kinzo phone price drops, GPS model added

The recently introduced Verzo Kinzo Android phone has just received a price cut after getting customer feedback. Kinzo has also now broken up the device into two models, with one basic option and another paired with an offline navigation package. The basic phone gets a price cut to $349, while the Plus GPS model is $384.

Those who purchased the Kinzo for its original $459 price tag can get a refund for the difference.

Both versions include earphones, an 8GB microSDHC memory card, USB and car chargers, two screen protectors (gloss and matte), and a leather case. The GPS pack adds Sygic navigation software with maps for Europe and Russia or the USA, depending on the buyer's location. A car mount is also included.

The hardware specs for the Czech Republic company's first and only smartphone include a 4.3-inch, 480x800 touchscreen, 1GHz TI OMAP processor, and both a five-megapixel rear and VGA (0.3-megapixel) front cameras. The OS is Android 2.2 overlaid with Verzo's own custom UI.
