TrayStation Pro launched

Ableton is currently offering a 25 percent discount on all software products, while Macessity has announced the launch of the TrayStation Pro

To celebrate the winter season, Ableton will be offering a 25 percent discount off all purchases made before January 15th, 2012. The discount applies to all Ableton software, such as Suite 8, Live 8, and Max for Live, and is available through both authorized retailers and the Ableton web shop. However, purchases of educational and not-for-resale versions, as well as Ableton merchandise are excluded from the discount. Full promotion details can be found on Ableton's website.

Macessity outs new laptop stand

Macessity has announced the launch of the TrayStation Pro, a new laptop riser that integrates two components, a steel base and an acrylic tray. The tray, which has been designed for use with all Mac laptops, lifts the device off of hard surfaces allowing for improved airflow. Meanwhile, the base station raises the laptop 6 inches into a more ergonomic position, and integrates a 4-port USB 2.0 hub. The TrayStation Pro can be purchased for $75, with the option to add additional trays at a cost of $25 for one and $45 for two.
