2012 12-month calendar features quotes
A Vietnamese publishing company has created a 2012 calendar honoring Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, using 14 selected portraits and a number of quotes of the legendary technologist, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in October. The quotes are printed in both English and Vietnamese, with several directly related to Jobs' thoughts on death, many expressed in his famous Stanford commencement address in 2005.
The calendar, which is titled "Be Hungry, Be Foolish" (a misquote of a line Jobs quoted from The Whole Earth Catalog's final issue) uses photos from across Jobs' career, including a chronological back page featuring 56 small photos from the invention of the Apple I to his final keynote this past June. One striking aspect of the assembled photos is how often Jobs -- who was notorious for being unable to settle on furniture he liked -- is photographed sitting on the floor.
The calendar is not expected to be made available outside Vietnam, though copies could turn up in cities with Vietnamese communities. [via VietnamNet Bridge]

sorry but the choice of photos and that cluttered cover just shows that they have no idea about the real Steve. He would have hated that cover. And then there is the photo repetition. With all the photos out there they had to repeat two of them. Don't think so. It comes off like they didn't really try but slapped something together to make some money off him. Tacky
