Interface gets overhauled

Sony has announced that its Music Unlimited service has been overhauled with a number of tweaks and improvements. Users can now customize their own channels, constructed using favorite artists. The custom channel is then filled with songs from the favorite artists and content from related artists.

The streaming service also brings a "dislike" option that mimics the track filtering tools available in Slacker and Pandora. PS3 users can also edit playlists directly from the game console, with options for creating playlists or adding and deleting songs from existing playlists.

The "My Channels" and "dislike" features are now available for basic- and premium-level subscribers on the PS3, or via firmware update on connected BRAVIA televisions, Blu-ray players and other devices.
