Now available in five other languages
An Adobe project codenamed Muse that allows graphic and print-oriented designers to easily translate their work into professional HTML websites without writing code or being limited to pre-designed templates has reached beta 4, according to the project's blog page. In addition to some 40 enhancements suggested by testers, the update also expands language support to French, German, Spanish, Swedish and Dutch.
Among the improvements are reduced page render and load times, the ability to change the UI to the new languages, and a fix to the hyperlink commands to handle additional protocols for better handling of e-mail addresses. The program has also moved to the AIR 3.0 platform, revised how widgets are first displayed, and updated to a more recent version of JQuery.
Adobe has added a mini-webserver to Muse for previews, support for vertical transitions, and made changes to allow both the importation of larger images and memory management of images, primarily to support the creation of sites that use high-resolution images (such as photography sites). The update also addresses more than 50 bugs reported by testers.

Subscription Only App? = NO THANKS
Adobe's new model will be subscription only? No thanks. They say it's so they can constantly update/upgrade the product. Their products constantly carry over bugs from previous releases even though we pay a hefty amount for the upgrade. So how will this be any different? When it comes to quality these days, Adobe = Microsoft.
