Alien Skin outs Blow Up 3
FileMaker is currently supplementing all FileMaker Pro 11 purchases with a free second license, while Alien Skin has announced the launch of Blow Up 3
FileMaker is currently running a special two for one promotion on all purchases of FileMaker Pro 11. The offer will remain available until December 15th and applies to Full, Education and Non-Profit versions of the software. The promotion is also being extended to retail purchases, allowing customers to receive a free second license by filling out a mail-in rebate. A free trial can be download through the company's website, while a full license retails for $300.
Blow Up 3 improves image scaling algorithms
Blow Up 3, a photo enlargement plug-in for Photoshop, has been released by Alien Skin Software. The tool analyzes images and converts elements into resizable vectors, allowing users to magnify images without sacrificing quality. Blow Up 3 introduces a simplified interact, as well as improved speed and support for Lightroom. Owners of Blow Up 1 or 2 can upgrade to the latest version for $100, while a full license costs $200.
