Mophie intros new juice pack universal chargers

Mophie has just shown off a new range of universal juice pack auxiliary battery packs for iOS devices. The second-generation batteries have the same soft-touch finish, built-in LED charge status indicator, and better energy transfer efficiency. The reserve is small enough to be worn on a keyring and has a 700mAh capacity.

It charges all generations of iPods and iPhones through its covered 30-pin connector. The reserve ships on September 30, priced at $35, and can be pre-ordered now.

The boost has a 2,000mAh capacity and can thus recharge an iPhone to its full capacity when its battery is completely drained. Its pivoting connector also lets the battery act as a stand for the iPod touch or iPhone. It also gets a faster 1A recharging mode. The boost also arrives in stores on September 30, priced at $50.

The powerstation is the most powerful, at 4,000mAh, but the least portable due to its size. It can recharge devices, including iPods, iPhones, iPads, and anything with a USB charger at 500mAh and either 1A or 2.1A. It itself can be recharged while supplying juice to other devices. It again ships on September 30 and carries an $80 price tag.
