Digital Heaven has released five new transition effects for Final Cut Pro X, while Bweasel has launched a new minimalistic iPad stand
Digital Heaven has released FCPX Transitions Pack 1, the first in a series of Final Cut Pro X effects packages. The new package offers five transition effects that range from lens flares to camera shutters and rolling film. Each effect includes customizable parameters for integrating the transition into any video project. FCPX Transitions Pack 1 is available through Digital Heaven's online store for $50.
Bweasel outs minimalistic stand for first and second generation iPad
A new stand minimalistic stand for the iPad has been released by Bweasel. The self-titled stand is available for both the iPad and iPad 2, and uses a wire design to securely hold the device in both landscape and portrait orientations. The Bweasel has a protective coating that prevents the stand from scratching the iPad, as well as an adjustable stand that can be set to nearly any angle. Both stands are currently priced at $25 with free US shipping, however, at the end of September the iPad 2 stand will rise to $30.
