Student prepares dinner using thin case edge
A series of videos on YouTube chronicle the tests of one Japanese student as he attempts to use the thinnest edge of the MacBook Air as a knife and cleaver in the course of preparing a meal. The young man is seen chopping mushrooms, carrots, pork, apples and other items using the thin edge of the Air, which he compares (when closed) to a Chinese cleaver.
He discovers that the edge is acceptable for cutting up mushroom stems, slicing up cabbage, cutting bacon, and chopping shrimp and scallops. However, the machine is less adept at any sort of horizontal cutting, such as scraping off baby corn, peeling a carrot (a "real" knife had to be used) or slicing bacon. In some cases the young man used a single "edge" of the air for a more precise cut, usually making use of the left lower corner where there was less chance of damaging the machine. Any juice or residue was wiped off immediately after use.
As probably goes without saying, he warns others not to repeat the stunts as damage to the device could result. The result was a stew-like "Babao" dish of miscellaneous ingredients and was served to his friends.

Watch out
I heard the Japanese whalers are replacing their harpoons with the MacBook Air.
