iHome iA91 brings web radio support through app
iHome on Tuesday announced it has began shipping its latest dual-alarm iPod/iPhone alarm clock in time for the start of the school year with the iA91. This is the eighth-generation of the device and is compatible with the iHome+Sleep (free, App Store) and iHome+Radio ($1.99, App Store) apps that will let users set custom alarms from the iOS device itself and play Internet radio stations. Users can choose to wake up to playlists on their Apple devices or AM/FM radio.
The audio piece has a time sync feature, which takes the time from the iOS device to ensure it's accurate, and a programmable snooze. Users can also wake up to gradually louder music and sleep volume. The new radio adds twin passive subwoofers in Reson8 enclosures for better low-end sound reproduction. An auxiliary 3.5mm input lets users connect audio devices other than Apple's.
The alarm is available for $100.

DST switch?
If it syncs to your iOS device, why would it need a DST switch? Will it sync properly without flicking the switch.
Other than that, it looks like a nice product.
