Chronos intros NoteLife HD note manager for iPad

Syncs with Soho Notes, features Cover Flow
Chronos has brought out a note manager for iPad called NoteLife HD that can work as a stand-alone media-rich note manager or sync with the company's Soho Notes for the Mac. Featuring a "worn leather" journal appearance, the program offers support for plain and rich text, images, PDF, audio/video files, web archive files, bookmark notes and more. The program has a built-in voice recorder, geotagging features, folder management, tagging, custom previews, camera support and encryption among other features.
Users can use a Cover Flow view to browse notes and folders, create subfolders, mark favorites, insert date and time info easily, comment on notes, customize fonts and colors, sort notes and search for them and even view statistics such as word counts. The program features its own trash, which can help prevent the accidental deleting of notes.
One quirk in the program is that rich text notes can only be editing in plain-text view. The company says this is a fault on the part of Apple, as the current versions of iOS don't yet support native rich text editing. The app features extensive folder abstraction management rarely seen in iPad programs, including the ability to easily move notes between folders and subfolders. Users can even view a note browsing history, or password-protect the entire app (in addition to the built-in note encryption).
NoteLife HD costs $10 and requires iOS 3.2 or later. The company also offers an iPhone and iPod Touch version called NoteLife for $5.

Disturbing Trend
I'm seeing this too often now: you wait and wait for a universal update to an iOS app you have purchased, and when it finally comes out, it's not an update, it's a whole new purchase. And this version STILL does not do rich-text editing. (Evernote figured it out, why can't Chronos?) On top of that, terrible/non-existent support. If you are not nice enough to them, they refuse to respond or just close your support ticket.
