ViewSonic shows one 10-inch, two 7-inch tablets

ViewSonic will bring three new tablets to the IFA show in Berlin. There are two 7-inch devices, with an Android 3.2-powered one called the ViewPad 7x and a cheaper, more e-reader like model in the ViewPad 7e. A 10-inch ViewPad 10pro will have Windows and Android with dual-booting.

The ViewPad 10pro is based on Intel's Oaktrail platform and thus likely ship with a 1.5GHz Atom Z600 chip. Users will have a choice of quickly switching between Windows 7 Professional and Android 2.3. It will get a multi-touch display and a Wi-Fi version should ship on September 5, priced at 499 euros (about $714).

The ViewPad 7x has a 1024x600 multitouch capacitive display and sports NVIDIA's Tegra 2 dual-core processor. There is 8GB of storage space, an integrated GPS sensor, front and rear cameras. The maker's custom ViewScene 3D UI sits overtop Android. The tablet is due out Europe late in September for 349 euros (nearly $500).

The ViewPad 7e gets a 4:3 ratio multitouch display with Amazon Kindle software pre-installed. In addition to reading e-books, it will have a web browser and multimedia playback capabilities. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI are present. It is due out late this year, priced at 169 euros ($242).

US release information hasn't yet been released. [via SlashGear]
