Under a dozen stores left for Apple deadline
Apple has announced that two more international store openings will occur alongside the Burlington, Ontario launch happening this Saturday. In Germany the company is unveiling an Augsburg outlet, located within the City-Galerie. The opening will mark just the sixth for the country, which has still to see an Apple Store in the capital of Berlin, though plans are underway.
Italy is getting a new store in the Marcianise area, based within the Campania commercial center. The launch will put the country one shop ahead of Germany, although Augsburg will represent the 100th Apple Store to premiere outside of the US. Apple now has less than a dozen stores to debut by the end of September to meet a self-imposed deadline.
