Ableton Live 8.2.5 adds Lion compatibility

updated 10:35 am EDT, Mon August 29, 2011

Answers Q&A platform debuts

Ableton has released a new version of Live, its flagship audio tool. The software handles the creation, recording and production of music, with a special emphasis on live performance aided by real-time editing and sampling functions. The v8.2.5 update introduces "full compatibility" with OS X Lion, according to Ableton, as well as better sync with external MIDI hardware.

The upgrade is a free download for any v8.x edition of Live. Ableton has meanwhile launched Answers, a new support forum for Live users. While anyone can read and browse the forum, participation requires a non-trial product license.
