Logitech launches two new iPad accessories

Logitech has unveiled two new iPad accessories. The first will appeal to iOS gaming fans on the iPad. The Logitech Joystick for iPad aims to give gamers more precise control as well provide a more comfortable gaming experience. The new Fold-Up Keyboard for iPad gives users who need a compact integrated iPad keyboard and case a solution for productivity on the go.

The Logitech Joystick for iPad is a thumb-stick style game controller that attaches to the iPad with suction cups and includes a coiled spring for a force feedback that automatically returns the joystick to its center position. Logitech has published a long list of titles compatible with the new joystick.

The Logitech Fold-Up Keyboard includes a full size keyboard and stand that connects via Bluetooth and charges over USB. The keyboard rests underneath the iPad 2 when closed and is ready to use as soon as it’s unfolded. It is also compatible with Apple’s Smart Cover for iPad and works when closed and rests under the iPad 2, ready to go for the next time its needed.

The Logitech Joystick will retail for $20 when it arrives on store shelves at the beginning of September. The Logitech Fold-Up Keyboard will sell for $130 and will launch around the same time.

    Fling

That joystick looks just like the fling. Did they buy the rights or the company that makes it? That looks like a direct copy.

    ripped off me thinks

Looks similar but not exactly like the Fling.
According to Ten One Designs' twitter posts, it sounds like sh*t is about to hit the proverbial fan:

" I'm checking now what we're permitted to say about this..."
    and then:
"I'll need to get back to you once we've got something prepared."
    and most recently:
"We can't say anything until we get it vetted."

Hopefully it works out for them - great product (I have two)
