Indie game New Star Soccer reaches version 5

A mix of simulation game and action sports title, indie developer New Star Games have made New Star Soccer 5 for Windows and Mac available for download. Featuring retro-style graphics and play, sport humor and a free-to-play model with over 5,000 registered players, New Star Soccer 5, the latest instalment in the series lets players live the life of a young soccer star, gaining skills and pursuing other leisure activities as well.
Players must juggle skills to win the admiration of team-mates, friends, and fickle fans, train with diligence to improve performance and also cope with off-field pressures such as the media, team bosses and girlfriends. Players have the opportunity to play in leagues from around the world and build profiles that are compared to real-life players, as well as compete against each other on the game's leaderboard and world tournaments.
Players can play for free, with five free matches on the first day and up to three free matches per day after that. A premium account, available for $20, allows unlimited matches.
