UK Apple Stores relocating stock to avoid looting

Some resellers following suit
Some UK Apple Stores are temporarily moving stock out of their showrooms, according to photos and regional anecdotes. Even though the London area has been the epicenter of recent rioting and looting, Apple Stores throughout the country are said to be relocating stock at the end of the business day. The Liverpool ONE location, for instance, is allegedly moving stock to upstairs storage.
Another given example is Canterbury in Kent. Some third-party resellers are said to be taking similar steps. The rioting was initially sparked by a controversial police shooting, but went completely out of control on the night of the 8th as people began burning buildings and exploiting the chaos to steal goods.
Apple Stores could be a tempting target in any upcoming looting. Products like iPads and MacBooks are popular, portable and expensive, and because of the design of Apple Stores, relatively easy to take. Most outlets have glass facades and wide-open showrooms, making it simple to smash in, grab as much as possible and run away. Several such incidents have happened in the US.

Exactly Where Now?
Make sure you indicate where exactly the stock is being relocated. Otherwise the looters might have to work too hard to find it...
