10.7.2 update intended 'solely' for iCloud
Over the weekend Apple began seeding new developer betas of OS X 10.7.2 and the iCloud add-on for Lion. The Lion release is listed as build 11C35, and in its official description is said to be "provided solely for to testing iCloud." The iCloud add-on, distributed at the same time, is identified simply as beta 6.
Both pieces of software are required for developers intending to migrate a MobileMe account to iCloud. The process also nets developers 25GB of free iCloud storage, although they will have to pay to renew the same amount of storage next year. A free iCloud account normally includes only 5GB, though any synced photos or iTunes purchases (excluding movies) don't count toward that total.

slightly mis-leading....
"A free iCloud account normally includes only 5GB, though any synced photos or iTunes purchases (excluding movies) don't count toward that total."
Photo stream photos do not count against the storage quota, photos in your camera roll (which are saved if you backup to iCloud) however, do. If you have a large number of photos in your camera roll it will use space rapidly.
