Back to the Future Episode 5

Prosoft Enginereing has released a modified version of its data recovery tool in the Mac App Store, while Telltale Games has announced the upcoming launch of the final Back to the Future episode

Prosoft Engineering has released Data Rescue 3 LE, a modified version of the company's data recovery tool, in the Mac App Store. Due to Apple's restrictions the company cannot offer all of the features found in the full version of Data Rescue. As a result, the company decided to develop a limited version of the software that adhered to App Store restrictions and could be offered through Apple's new software store. Data Rescue 3 LE only works with external, non-startup drives and therefore cannot use a boot DVD to provide additional functionality. Data Rescue 3 LE is offered exclusively through the Mac App Store for $60, while a full Data Rescue 3 license can be purchased from the company's website for $100.

The final episode of Telltale Games' Back to the Future series is set to launch in the App Store on July 21st. In the fifth and final episode of the iPad series Marty McFly races against the clock to repair the timeline, while Michael J. Fox joins the cast in a special guest appearance as two characters. The game will play just like the four previous episodes, placing players in the role of Marty McFly. In addition, the company has also announced that the Back to the Future Episode 1 will remain free until July 21st.
