Sparrow, a minimilist e-mail client, has been upgraded to v1.3, while Cocoon Innovates has announced that its Sleeve2 MacBook/iPad carrying case is now being sold through Apple retail stores
An updated version of Sparrow, a minimalistic mail client for the Mac, has been released in the Mac App Store. Version 1.3 brings full support for OS X Lion and adds several new features designed to simplify mail accounts. Dragging the sidebar to the left side of the window will now present users with an extend side bar that provides quick access to all labels and folders. The company has also integrated a Send and Archive feature akin to that found in Gmail, additionally drag and drop support, reworked sidebar animations, and more. Sparrow 1.3 can be purchased in the Mac App Store for $10.
Cocoon Sleeve 2 now available at Apple retail stores
Cocoon Innovations has announced that its Sleeve2 MacBook and iPad combo bag is now available in Apple Stores across the US. The carrying bag features a shock resistant textile and the company's GRID-IT retention system, a rubberized woven elastic grid for organizing accessories. In addition, the bag comes with an adjustable padded shoulder strap that can be removed when its not needed. The Sleeve2 is available in black and red, each with a dark grey interior at Apple Stores for $70.
